Ties Keyzer

Ties Keyzer (1992) applied for a job at the Tobacco Investigations Desk in 2017. Driven by a (professional) fascination with the division of power and its effects on society, he began investigating one of the most successful lobbying and marketing machines in history: the tobacco industry. In 2018/2019, he helped set up The Investigative Desk. Keyzer now leads the tobacco editorial desk while also delving into the world of natural gas, hydrogen and other energy forms and into the (powerful) corporations that produce, transport and trade them.
