Dear readers,
In this special edition we present you two major stories we just published. An international team, co-ordinated by The Investigative Desk, investigated the causes and consequences of the persistent ammunition shortages in NATO, which are caused by the war in Ukraine. Why is it so difficult to scale up production?
TheID also investigated the investments of the major tobacco companies in the medical and pharmaceutical industry. These investments focus on remedies for conditions that are caused of aggravated by smoking. Thus, the Big Four make their customers pay twice: first for smoking, then for treating the damage that has done.
Regards,
Marcel Metze
editor-in-chief.
