More military goods to Israel, even after the 7th of October

For decades, weapon exports to Israel from the Netherlands were not as large as in the past two years. For years, the cabinet was reluctant to grant licences for the export of military goods to Israel. But in 2022 and 2023, there were 10 times more exports allowed than in previous years – including components of missiles and fighter planes.
Exports to Israel did not stop after the outbreak of war in Gaza. Last Friday, this was the subject of summary proceedings, and tomorrow the House of Representatives will debate weapon exports.
