Is Geert Wilders really more lenient on asylum?

In the run-up to the national elections, Geert Wilders, leader of the political party PVV, took the “sharp edges” off his asylum views. He also lowered his tone on the Islam. According to him, there are “more important priorities”., which is a signal that his party wants to co-regulate. Does it really make the coalition negotiations easier? At the local municipality Ter Apel, cooperation with the PVV on the migration issue still appears almost impossible.
